Outstanding achievements in the field of oto-surgery!
Prof. MD, PhD in Medican Science and PhD in Public Health Studies MSc Piotr H. Skarżyński and his team performed three groundbreaking hearing implant surgeries. These innovative procedures took place on December 9, 2024, at the International Center of Hearing and represent a milestone in the fields of otolaryngology and medical technology.
Cochlear OSIA – a middle ear implant with bone conduction for a child
For the first time in Poland, a Cochlear OSIA implant was implanted in a young patient. This modern bone conduction system helps children with middle ear damage hear better by transmitting sound directly to the cochlea. Thanks to this procedure, children with congenital or acquired defects can develop normally and enjoy full communication capabilities.
Oticon Medical SENTIO – an implant for an adult
The team also performed the first implantation of the Oticon Medical SENTIO implant in an adult patient in Poland. This advanced hearing system enables better sound perception even in difficult acoustic conditions. Thanks to this technology, adult patients with hearing loss have a chance to experience a significant improvement in their quality of life and daily functioning.
Fully Implantable Cochlear Implant
As part of an international clinical trial, the first implantation of a fully implantable cochlear implant was performed in Poland. This solution eliminates the need for external device components. The patient can hear without wearing visible parts on the ear, marking a step towards greater discretion and user comfort.
Breakthrough in Medicine and Hope for Patients
These three pioneering surgeries not only open up new therapeutic possibilities for patients with various types of hearing loss but also represent a significant step forward in the development of medical technologies. Thanks to them, hearing treatment in Poland is entering a new phase, providing patients with access to the most advanced solutions.
We warmly congratulate the entire medical team for their dedication, professionalism, and groundbreaking achievements!

The approach and patience with the child was noticeable, which made the whole procedure less stressful for us.
The staff asked us many questions and provided us with full information about the treatment.
This made us feel confident and taken care of.
Thank you very much for all your care!

The clinic's staff was not only professional, but also exceptionally kind and understanding towards the needs of our young patient.
Their approach and patience with the child were admirable.
The entire process was transparent to us, and we received full information about the progress of treatment, which definitely minimized our concerns.

I recommend a visit/s to Ms. Eng.
Iwona Zarzycka - hearing aid specialist.
Ms. Iwona received my mother - an elderly senior citizen with severe hearing loss - very warmly and selected for her the appropriate hearing aids and earmolds.
Ms. Iwona explained everything from start to finish, slowly, calmly, and adjusted to the elderly person, who had bad experiences with previous hearing aids and was skeptical about the new devices.
In the end, my mother was satisfied and happy that everything was working and her life comfort had improved.

Good morning.
Today we were here for the first time and I will say that the approach of the staff is of the highest level.
Yet with such an approach full of heart , understanding we have not met on our way.
There you can feel the empathy, warmth, understanding and individual approach to the patient with the heart.
We will return there not only because we have to, but because there is an approach from the heart .
Greetings and thank you

A place that is not associated with a hospital.
Great organization, wonderful care, super-sympathetic staff.
Starting from the admission itself, through the whole procedure of the procedure, aftercare and discharge - everything is five plus.
If anyone, ever needed a tonsil removal procedure or ear drainage in their child - with a clear conscience and heart I would recommend the facility in Kajetany 😊.

I am very happy with my visit with my 3 month old baby. There is no nervousness when the baby cries during the hearing test.
There is a demonstrated understanding and given time for mom and bean to calm down before trying the test again . I recommend :)

The best Hearing Center in the world. Professor Henryk Skarzynski, who founded this Center and operates here, is an outstanding specialist in the field of hearing treatment. If you get treatment, only here. The hospital is very well equipped and connected/internal.
Next to the hospital there is a hotel and a very beautiful restaurant. Next to the hotel is a beautiful park and a mini zoo with reindeer, deer, fallow deer, wild birds and horses. Silence, peace and beauty of nature. A person forgets about illness.

I recommend wholeheartedly.
My 2.5 year old son underwent a third tonsil removal and ear drainage procedure a week ago.
The staff is very kind, helpful, with approach and patience with the child.
I saw with my own eyes that my son was taken care of in an exemplary manner.
I was informed in detail about the entire course of treatment.
We felt safe and secure.
Thank you for everything ❤️
