Medincus Rzeszów

The Subcarpathian Center of Hearing and Speech Medincus began its activity in 2008. Until mid-December 2015, the Center was located at st. Chodkiewicz 6, Rzeszow. Now the Center is located at Al. Niepodległości 3, 35-303 Rzeszow. The center is equipped with special devices for use by people with disabilities.

We offer you:

• hearing examination rooms with a cabin for audiometry,

• a psychologist’s office,
• a physiotherapy room,
• room for group studies and therapy SPPS-S according to the method of Professor Skarzynski and the Tomatis method.

Center equipment:

• a fully equipped ENT machine with a video-otoscope, video-fiberscope, video-endoscope, video-microscope and video-stroboscope, as well as the ability of recording images and sounds,
• a cabin for audiometry and equipment for comprehensive hearing studies, as well as equipment for screening newborns and infants,
• modern software and equipment for fitting hearing aids,
• a physiotherapy room for the treatment of diseases of the sinuses, larynx, ears, cervical spine, and the upper respiratory tract,
• diagnostics of imbalance using videonystagmography (VNG),
• a rehabilitation room for hearing, voice, speech, and balance disorders,
• a digital speech corrector, which is used in the therapy for stuttering and fluency of speech,
• a device for conducting auditory training according to the Tomatis method and Stimulation of Polymodal Sensory Perception (SPPS-S) according to the method of Professor Skarzynski,
• The Sensory Organs Research Platform – a state-of-the-art equipment for screening tests of vision, hearing and speech.
